Bahrain International Circuit
The motor racing circuit in Bahrain is world famous due to its' regular hosting of Formula One Grand Prix events.

Design:
The Circuit was ingeniously designed with six separate track layouts including a test oval and a drag strip incorporated into the design, of which two can be in operation at any one time.
 
The Circuit's multifaceted facility includes many hospitality lounges of different sizes that are designed to hold a wide selection of corporate and social entertainment. Clients can select to entertain their customers from a number of venues giving them opportunities to see the races from various and exclusive angles.

Six different individual tracks:
  • 2.55 km Inner track with a width varying between 14m - 15m (8 turns)
  • 3.664 km Outer track with a width varying between 14m - 17m (10 turns)
  • 5.411 km Grand Prix track with a width varying between 14m - 22m width
  • 6.4 km Full Circuit with a width varying between 14m - 22m
  • 1.2 km Drag strip with a width of 18.5m
  • 2.0 km test oval
  • 3.7 km Paddock Circuit (9 turns) 14 - 22m width

The circuit holds a range of events during the year, and these include:

F1 Grand Prix: 2009 Date
The FIA announced final F1 2009 calendar in Paris on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.

The Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will now be the fourth race of the 2009 season, and it will be on April 26th.

Bahrain Golf
The Royal Golf Club forms the centerpiece of Riffa Views, a luxury lifestyle community.

Design:
It has been designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, the club’s 18-hole championship golf course is due to begin full operations in November 2008. Floodlights on the back 9 holes mean that golfers will be able to enjoy a round until well after sunset.

In addition to the links-style par 72 championship course, the Royal Golf Club will boast a floodlit 9 hole, par 3 academy course, a Royal golf academy and driving range and a luxurious club house containing a fully-stocked golf shop, conference facilities and a wide variety of food and beverage outlets.

A country club adjoining the club house is also under construction and will feature swimming pools, gymnasiums, volley ball and tennis courts as well as a children’s play area and gardens.
