Opportunites For You To Make A Difference ...
Education, done the right way, can be a life transforming experience for both an individual and their community. This is especially so in under developed countries where the impact of education can be truly transformative.
One such place is Pisac in the heart of the Peruvian andes. And here the Kusi Kawsay school is one such key project. It was formed by a group of people with a curriculum that promotes the diffusion and recuperation of Andean Culture, who have organized a number of integral educational activities for the past 15 years aimed at reinvigorating, promoting, protecting and celebrating the Andean Culture – and in this way empowering the endangered traditional way of life.

Culture
Over the last several decades local indigenous peoples around the world have come under increasing pressure, both economic and social, to let go of their traditions and to replace them with 'westernised' values.
This is doubly so with local cultures in the Sacred Valley in Peru, who were initially disenfrachised by the Spanish Conquistadors and now face increasing pressures from western cultures
The Pachamama's Path organisation seeks to promote and protect the values and knowledge of Andean culture - and in this way, empower the endangered traditional way of life.
